Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assist in monitoring, scheduling, application health assessments, incident management and proactive maintenance of one or more production applications or products
- Generate reports, statistics and information listings for troubleshooting and perform impact analysis
- Identify, document and design business processes for automation
- Setup, perform testing and monitoring automated workflows to ensure that business processes function at optimum efficiency without risk of error and to resolve any potential issues for smooth business operations
- Participate in 7x24 emergency call rotation as necessary
- Participate in deployments as required
- Maintain application documentation up to date on a regular basis
- Provide application training to Operations
- Perform application testing and communicate to impacted stakeholders and Operations due to DR, upgrades, releases and enhancements
- Communicate with Operations and Commercials proactively to understand improvement / innovation opportunities, build strong partnerships in support of business / IT strategic plan and roadmap development, and to ensure alignment of initiatives with organization objectives
- Apply appropriate methods and adopt flexible interpersonal styles to build collaborative relationships across multiple cross-functional and geographically dispersed business and IT support teams
- Demonstrate the experience in working with all aspects of Maintenance and SDLC
- Produce and review SDLC documents such as technical solution, design specification, test case, and test plan, etc
- Able to elicit, analyze and document business requirements in order to identify alternative solutions to a business need
- Manage outsourced and contract service providers effectively in application support / enhancement / development delivery
- Able to perform code review in specific application and system technology
- Support and conduct SIT and UAT with other IT SME and end-users
- Assist in preparation for deployment of changes in system to production
- Define, automate build and deploy web applications using WAS and maintain source code with version control tools, i.e. GitLab, Jenkins
- Perform regular application and data housekeeping with AMS assistances
- Manage service provider quality and performance to ensure that services are delivered according to the specified service levels and requirements
- Manage relationships with service providers to ensure that outsourcing contracts are successfully executed
- Assist in preparing, conducting and evaluating Request for Quotations, Request for Proposals, propose recommendation and produce assessment report
- Act as L3 production support in problem resolution and implementation
- Review service provider timesheet, submit accruals, settle vendor invoices according to financial accounting calendar
Qualification:
Degree in Computer Science or related disciplines
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 of IT experience with relevant SDLC / development or system analysis experience
- Minimum 4 years of experience in managing and tracking of work deliveries by outsourced vendors according to contract terms and SLA
- Understanding of implications from design and implementation choices toward building secure, scalable, durable, flexible, accessible solutions
- Understanding of application architecture, infrastructure and security concepts and technical implementation
- Able to translate business requirements into functional specifications
- Experience in working with IT team, business teams, customer team and IT solution providers to successfully deliver application enhancement according to business request and maintenance
- Understand Architecture requirements and ensure effective Design, Development, Validation and Support activities
- Good understanding of content services technologies and Logistics / Supply Chain domain
- Has system support, maintenance and troubleshooting experience
- Has application development and implementation experience in related technologies such as Spring Boot, Angular m J2EE, Java Script, C#, WebService, REST API, DB2, SQL, Tomcat
Aptitude to pick up new technologies and trends, become relevant for business and system platforms, i.e. REST/SOAP/XML Services, mobile apps, and incorporating cloud components
- Understand Architecture Requirements and ensure effective Design, Development, Validation and Support activities good understanding of the technology and domain
- Able to understand database schema and know how to write optimized SQL statements
- Good communication, writing and documentation skills
- Fluent in English
- Has vendor / team management experience
- Able to track technical deliverables progress by service providers
- Able to work with co-workers in multiple time-zones when required
- Able to multi-task, work independently with minimum supervision
