- Manage daily pricing activities and establish rate guidelines and surcharges as needed.
- Implement yield management strategies.
- Collect market data and information.
- Assess customer requests for free time and address other commercial matters.
- Create revenue and trade volume forecasts.
- Collaborate closely with international branches on commercial initiatives and operations.
- Conduct feasibility studies on pricing tactics and trade services, actively participating in business development.
- Compile monthly trade reports, including Container Business Performance Analysis and Contribution Margin performance assessments.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as directed by your superior
- Degree/Diploma in Business or equivalent with 4-5 years of pricing analysis experience or commercial work in a large shipping firm.
- Team player with strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
- Meticulous, outgoing personality, assertive and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Able to multi-task and work independently
