Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Product Owner and transformation team to understand project objectives and benefits.
- Work with domain Business Analysts to create business requirements to define project scope.
- Partnering with Engineering and Architecture teams to outline IT solutions to address business requirements
- Carry out project planning to identify resources required, establish a project schedule, and estimate budget
- Support Product Owner and Project Sponsor in formalizing and presenting Project Charter to senior management for approval.
- End-to-end execution of the projects. Guide Junior Project Manager in the execution of the Project, from kick-off till project completion.
- Establishing and monitoring project resources, activities, schedules, and deliverables. Proactively managing issues and risks related to the project.
- Ensure engagement and perform project reporting to project stakeholders during the duration of the project.
- The central solutions person from pipeline development and proposal development from initiation till delivery launch.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT or related Engineering discipline.
- More than 10 years of experience in IT Project Management
- Preferably more than 5 years in the banking or financial services environment especially banking product operation such as trade finance or Treasury domain.
- Experience with business process re-engineering will be preferred.
- PMP or equivalent professional certification will be an advantage.
- Good understanding of solution architecture, design patterns and best practices in technology solutions.
- Strong communicator who can steer and influence stakeholders effectively.
- Able to lead cross-workstream(s) and off-shore vendor delivery team(s).
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, relationship-building skills and ability to achieve results without direct reporting relationships.
