Job description
A freight forwarding business client is identifying and hiring a Business Development Manager to manage and develop new or existing customer accounts.
Responsibilities
- To be accountable for brand new client development together with existing clients’ management.
- Make accurate business plans and hit sales goals as a team player.
- To develop and build strong key client accounts across various industries based in Singapore market only.
- To provide support to devise, fine tune and implement overall sales and marketing strategy and directives.
- Build strategic commercial plans with senior stakeholders and focus on mid to long term business planning.
- Responsible for the management and handling of the RFQ response documents coming to the company.
- Undertake and roll out end-to-end sales presentations with sales solutioning across various client accounts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree/ Diploma/ Certificate in Business, Sales, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in either courier express or freight forwarding industry.
- Prefer experience in handling customers / business in sea and air freights.
- Excellent hybrid of sales development, hunting, account management abilities
- Able to work under pressure where needed.
