Job description
A freight forwarding business client of ours is identifying and hiring an experienced Business Development Manager to manage and execute new and existing customer account management.
Responsibilities
- To be accountable for brand new client development together with existing clients’ management.
- Make accurate business plans and hit sales goals as a team player.
- To provide customers specific advice/information to management to facilitate business performance review, evaluation and budgeting.
- To provide support to devise, fine tune and implement overall sales and marketing strategy and directives.
- Build strategic commercial plans with senior stakeholders and focus on Singapore market only.
- Responsible for the management and handling of the RFQ response documents coming to the company.
- Undertake sales presentations to customers and business communities to present to the company and its products and services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree/ Diploma/ Certificate in Business, Sales, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the supply chain industry as well as business development area
- Prefer experience in handling customers / business in sea and air freights.
- Excellent reporting abilities
- Able to work under pressure where needed.
