We are seeking a talented Corporate Banking Relationship Manager to join our team in the transportation industry, with a focus on shipping and aviation. In this role, you will work closely with our clients to understand their business goals and develop tailored financing solutions that meet their unique needs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing our portfolio of clients, while delivering exceptional customer service.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Originate and manage client relationships, specifically within the shipping and aviation industries, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
- Work closely with product partners and overseas colleagues to identify and realize opportunities across the entire value chain in Singapore and overseas markets
- Develop and implement strategies to grow and expand our portfolio of clients in the transportation industry, with a focus on shipping and aviation
- Structure viable financing solutions to meet clients’ requirements and manage the entire credit process from proposal preparation to credit reviews
- Responsible for managing own portfolio of obligors, including preparation of in-depth credit risk analysis and close follow-through facing Credit Risk department
- Cross-sell trade, treasury, cash management, capital markets products to deepen client relationships
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant banking experience in corporate banking, involving loan syndication, debt capital markets, and M&A advisory related transactions
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to lead deal teams in origination and execution
- Strong credit and financial analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and experience in the shipping and aviation industries
- Independent, self-motivated, proactive, result-oriented, with a growth mindset and a good team player
- Well-versed with current digital and other emerging sector landscapes in the transportation industry, with a focus on shipping and aviation
