Job description
With global brand presence as it focuses on personal care, household care and specialty products, my esteemed consumer client is seeking for a Demand Planner.
Responsibilities
- To maintain a rolling 12–18-month consensus demand plan as you gain work engagement with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and several other teams.
- To carry out monthly meetings with account managers reviewing the root cause of forecast variance.
- To challenge sales forecast information provided by commercial teams where significant changes have occurred and understand their reason for changing.
- To work in a proactive manner with Supply Chain and Inventory Control functional teams as you handle supply chain operational complexities.
- To work across several service levels and thrive through several S&OP processes as you would also launch forecasts for NPD launches.
- Provide relevant guidance for new product development, SKU rationalization, remnant inventory avoidance, and overall supply chain complexity optimization.
- Responsible for customers where necessary to ensure updated forecasts are received monthly on a timely basis.
- Gain ownership over Demand Plans for allocated business areas, work with best business practice with international stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management or similar.
- 3 – 5 years demand planning experience would be preferred.
- Worked in a forecasting environment particularly with
- Strong execution of written and spoken language skills.
- Thrive and work in fast-paced work environment and can manage all levels of regional stakeholders well.
- Advanced excel user with good communication skill.
