As a Financial Institutions Relationship Manager with an ESG focus, you will be a key ambassador of the bank's values and mission. Your fluency in Mandarin will be essential in fostering strong relationships with our Chinese-speaking clients, ensuring effective communication, and understanding of their unique ESG needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and strengthen relationships with financial institution clients, including banks, insurance companies, and asset management firms, particularly within the Chinese-speaking market.
- Leverage your Mandarin proficiency to engage with clients effectively, understanding their ESG requirements, and providing strategic advice on sustainable financial solutions.
- Proactively identify and pursue business opportunities within the financial institutions sector, building a robust portfolio of clients who share our commitment to ESG principles.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including product specialists, credit analysts, and ESG experts, to design and deliver customized financial solutions aligned with clients' ESG strategies.
- Stay updated on the latest ESG trends, regulations, and market developments, integrating this knowledge into your client engagements and solution offerings.
- Work closely with SME bankers and corporate relationship managers, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and ESG-driven innovation.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.
- 3 to 5 years of demonstrated success in financial institutions relationship management, preferably with experience in serving Chinese-speaking clients.
- Fluent in both spoken and written Mandarin, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Strong passion and understanding of ESG principles and sustainable finance.
- Proven track record of building and managing client relationships, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to implement innovative ESG solutions that align with clients' values and financial goals.
