Job Description
The role involves overseeing daily regulatory ratios and requirements for the branch, preparing and reviewing MAS regulatory reports, managing Nostro reconciliations, reviewing accounting entries and subaccount ledgers, providing financial data to the Head Office, assisting with taxation matters, participating in Head Office and financial reporting, aiding in budget consolidation and cost management, and contributing to process improvement initiatives.
Requirements
The preferred candidate should hold a degree in Accountancy or a recognized professional qualification such as ACCA, with at least 4 years of experience in established audit firms or finance departments of banks companies. They should have a strong grasp of MAS and Banking Act regulations, be well-versed in accounting policy and internal controls, and possess excellent stakeholder management skills. Additionally, they should be proficient in analytical and financial reporting, contribute to improving accounting systems, demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, and be adaptable to a fast-paced, diverse environment.
