Our client is a listed real estate company with their presence made well-known across the region. They are currently seeking for talents to join their Corporate finance team as a Group Accountant.
About the role
In this role, you will be responsible in handling the financial and management reporting functions, ensuring all information for the group is accurate, timely and compliant with accounting standards and regulations.
Key responsibilities:
- Handling accounts consolidation and preparation of monthly management reporting
- Prepare monthly financial reports including consolidation, budgeting and forecasting
- Put together accurate and timely financial and management reports, including variance analysis, cash flow projections and AR collection reports
- Assembling of company periodic SGX announcements
- Prepare annual financial statements
- Work closely with the respective HODs to provide the annual budget and quarterly forecast
- Provide business decision support and analysis by providing necessary financial advice
- Handle external and internal audit and statutory matters
To succeed in this role, you will need to be a technically and analytically strong with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy or equivalent Accounting qualifications (CPA/ACCA/CA)
- Min. 10 years of working experience with at least 3 years in handling complex consolidation
- Independent, proactive and a strong communicator
- Experience in Cognos is advantageous
