The Client
Our client is a prominent public organisation who excels in promoting connectivity and integration through building Singapore’s land infrastructure. Harnessing technology to create meaningful developments for its long-term plans, they are looking for a specialist in Database Management Systems (DBMS) to be part of their exciting digital journey.
The Role
As the lead of DBMS, you will be the subject matter expert of the system, providing high level technical consultancy support on database maintenance and operations, developing its standards and SOP for secure operations. As part of the organisation’s digital transformation journey, you will play an important role collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to manage its Cloud Migration project,
Ideal Profile
The ideal candidate is a bachelor degree holder in Computer Engineering / Science with more than 8 years of experience in database operation support and maintenance. To succeed in the role, technical experience in Cloud-based Database services and tools (mongoDB, SQL DB, Redis, MySQL etc) and commercial clouds (AWS, Microsoft Azure etc) will be key.
