Our Client is within the Pharmaceutical Industry with strong Global and APAC presence with a strong vision that involves integrating innovation, knowledge, people, and products are seeking an adept Head of Supply Chain to be based in their APAC Corporate office in central town of Singapore.

 

Job Description

You’ll collaborate closely with the commercial people within the organization and you are directly responsible to ensure an efficient Inventory Turnover, management of Supplier Performance, risk management, Lead Time Reduction and others. This would be a people management role.

Additional Responsibilities:-

• Oversee the entire pharmaceutical distribution supply chain and demand planning, ensuring smooth coordination among procurement, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution operations.

• Create and implement supply chain strategies that match business objectives, ensuring cost-effective and efficient pharmaceutical product distribution while adhering to regulatory and quality standards.

• Work closely with internal teams like sales, marketing, regulatory affairs, and finance to gather insights and accurately forecast demand, balancing immediate needs with long-term strategic goals.

• Lead continuous improvement efforts in demand forecasting and planning processes, utilizing data-driven insights and industry best practices to optimize inventory levels, minimize shortages, and reduce excess inventory.

• Cultivate and manage strong relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers, suppliers, and vendors to secure a reliable supply, negotiate favourable terms, and oversee supplier performance effectively.

• Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate supply chain and demand planning performance, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing corrective measures as necessary.

• Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory shifts, and market dynamics to proactively address potential supply chain disruptions and ensure compliance with pharmaceutical distribution regulations.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product launches, promotions, and new market expansion, guaranteeing supply chain readiness and alignment with business goals.

• Strong Stakeholder Management

 

The Successful Applicant

You must have a Degree in Business/ Engineering or Supply Chain with significant years of experience in Supply and Demand planning on a Regional/Global merit within the Pharmaceutical Consumer Product Industry would be highly preferred. You’ll need to have the ability to articulate and communicate effectively towards C-suite executives on a Global scale.
