Job description

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1.  Leading a team to manage the full spectrum of HR function.
  2.  Formulate and implement HR policies and plans in support of the Group’s strategic business objectives.
  3.  Work with Business Units and Functional Heads on manpower planning and headcount management and implement effective recruitment and retention policies to meet the Group’s manpower needs.
  4.  Develop and manage Group’s manpower budget and ensure HR programs are delivered in a cost effective and the most efficient manner.
  5.  Ensure all aspects of operational HR workflows, including payroll management, compliance, performance metrics and reporting are consistently executed in a timely and effective manner.
  6.  Ensure C&B policies and practices are regularly reviewed and updated to attract and retain talents; make recommendations to improve/update C&B policies as and when needed.
  7.  Conduct training needs/skills matrix analysis, develop and regularly evaluate L&D programs to ensure relevancy and effectiveness.
  8.  Develop and implement initiatives for employee communications and engagement
  9.  Conduct Employee Engagement Survey regularly and take effective follow-up actions.
  10.  Ensure proper processes are in place to promptly handle issues relating to employee grievances, disciplinary, terminations, investigations, workplace injury, medical and insurance claims.
  11.  Update Management and Board on HR-domain related trends, best practices, regulatory changes, innovations, and new technologies.
  12.  Drive, own and continuously improve HR processes and employee life cycle experience
  13.  Ensure HR compliance with all regulatory requirements, and that all HR Manual, SOPs and records are kept up-to-date and accurate at all times.
  14.  Undertake ad-hoc duties as and when required.
 
REQUIREMENTS
  • A Degree, preferably in Human Resource Management with at least 10 years of solid, hands-on managerial experience across full spectrum of HR function.
  • A HR practitioner who is resourceful, well-organized and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Good in negotiations and conflict resolution, able to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well and deliver results under pressure and resource constraints
