Our client is one of the global leading multinational logistics service providers. Regional HQ based in Singapore. To cope with the increasing demand, they are looking for an experienced technical lead at the manager level to be the subject matter expert and responsible for delivering the design and solution architecture for the Freight Management Systems across the region. Work closely with internal IT personnel, outsourcing vendors, business partners, and other business teams.
Responsibilities
- Act as a subject matter expert for Core App/Order Management.
- Provide APCA framework technical support.
- Oversee IT app delivery, change analysis, and governance.
- Lead teams for quality and compliance.
- Collaborate with IT, users, and vendors for on-time solutions.
- Offer tech guidance in software and architecture.
- Engage IT management for issue resolution.
- Refine processes for cost-effective, high-quality results.
- Manage incidents, problems, releases, and monitoring.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving.
- Ensure timely, cost-effective app and infrastructure support.
- Support audits and compliance promptly.
- Partner with Operation and Business teams.
- Collaborate with IT support functions.
- Efficiently manage vendors and resources.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years as a Solution Architect or similar role.
- 5-10 years in IT SDLC/Agile, Project, and Technical Management in Logistics and Supply Chain.
- Proven record leading and collaborating with diverse stakeholders and IT teams.
- Knowledge in Freight Forwarding, Consolidation, or 3rd Party Logistics, especially in Order and Freight Management.
- Hands-on problem-solving with attention to detail.
- Effective in communication, Independent and self-motivated.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Upholds professional values and integrity.
- Strong technical expertise in multiple areas, including Java, JavaScript, WebServices, Oracle BPM, ETL, RPA, Mobile, Cloud, Legacy systems (Cobol, Assembler, IDMS/PL/SQL, Middleware)
