Job description
Our client is a major international distributor of steel pipes, fittings and flanges.
Job responsibilities:
- Act as key integrator of internal processes and ownership of project execution plan for key project accounts.
- Understand fully the internal sales systems and procedures.
- Maintain a collaborative and effective working relationship with customers, internal partners and stakeholders and supply chain.
- Anticipate and solve problems, plan for workload changes.
- Prepares regular expediting reports and maintains overall control of project timeline.
- Participate in project execution team meetings.
- Plan and execute meetings with customers and any other face-to-face meeting as required.
- Develop and maintain relationship with external customers and suppliers.
- Expedite with suppliers and ensure on-time delivery of project targets.
- Monitor progress and manage risks and recovery of any schedule slippages.
- Liaise with 3PL and client shipping teams for preparation of project shipping documents.
- Understand customers’ needs to customize project deliveries.
- Coordination on issuance / adherence to Letter of Credit and enforcement of payment terms
- Keep management informed on project execution progress (reporting)
Requirements:
- Min. Diploma in Business or Engineering field.
- Min. 2-3 years of relevant working experience.
- Demonstrated competence in the use of computer and software applications.
- Good in communication and negotiation skills.
- Prior experience in Project Management or Supply Chain Management is preferred.
- Able to work with multinational customers.
