I am hiring for a leading joint venture formed by two of Singapore's major mobile network operators.
 
Purpose
The primary role is to monitor and maintain 3.5GHz C-Band RAN systems to ensure operational efficiency and continuity for the company’s business.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Carry out 24 x 7 daily monitoring of the 3.5GHz C-Band RAN systems’ faults and alarms.
  • Issue trouble tickets and tracked the fault resolution to ensure that any fault raised is responded to and resolved within the agreed SLA.
  • Coordinate with JVCo. to develop, implement and maintain processes/procedures for daily operations, system configuration and maintenance activities.
  • Coordinate with JVCo. to assess, plan, align, schedule and implement Change Request (CR) raised by JVCo..
  • Generate monthly network performance and usage reports or any ad hoc reports upon request by JVCo..
  • Coordinate and work with the equipment vendor, JVCo. to test all gNode B software upgrade and patches with their respective 5G Core Network to ensure end to end compatibility.
  • Coordinate with equipment vendor, JVCo. to schedule a mutually agreed timeline to load the software upgrades/patches to the live network.
  • Administer all system and user management functions of the 5G RAN OSS, which include:
  • Access right of the JVCo. and the equipment vendors;
  • Software and hardware upgrades;
  • Security functionalities;
  • System maintenance (such as database maintenance).
  • For 5G Exploratory Platform (5GEP), to be the interface with IMDA to update on changes to network configurations, software versions and procedures.
  • Coordinate with JVCo. to support project implementation and network expansions.
  • Interface with vendors and contractors on all operational and project support activities.
Qualifications:
  • New graduate with NITEC, Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Telecommunication or related qualification or possess at least two years of related working experience.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Preferable to have some knowledge in telecommunication networks, knowledge of cellular network would be an advantage.
  • Preferable to have some basic IP knowledge.
  • Interpersonal skill:
  • Maintain a strong learning attitude and able to keep up in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work independently and is also a good team player.
  • Possess good communication skills.
  • Strong commitment to work and have good initiatives.
