Regional Technical Support Engineer

Responsibilities

• Execute end to end regional technical support for Haematology, Clinical Flow Cytometry, Haemostasis, Immunology, Chemistry Urinalysis
• Conducting training for local or overseas for affiliates and business partners’ support team
• Prepare / update training materials and necessary guides for products of one's responsibility.
• Understand and hold the technical knowhow to counter end to end customer queries locally and regionally.
• Able to support local (Singapore market) if needed as you will also be guiding all engineering junior members.
• Be the key contact person for products between Singapore and regional office.
• Creating actions / ideas for continuous improvement of affiliates and business partners’ support team skill and knowledge

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Biomedical / Mechatronics / Electronics Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years or more of relevant experience in In Vitro Diagnostics or medical devices
• Prefer to have experience in handling medical devices including troubleshooting.
• Competence in interactive communication, problem solving and decision making.
• Hold the ability of conducting good technical support workflows with framework of supporting local and regional teams.
• Good and fluent in both written and oral communication skills including presentation skills
