Job description

Do you have a passion for driving business development and want to work with regional conglomerates and potential unicorns in emerging business sectors such as financial and agri tech? We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated individual to join our Wholesale Corporate Marketing team to help us identify and realize opportunities across the entire value chain in Singapore and overseas markets.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Drive business development efforts: Engage in various business development efforts to grow and acquire regional conglomerates and potential unicorns in emerging business sectors.
  • Identify and realize opportunities: Work closely with overseas colleagues and product partners to identify and realize opportunities across the entire value chain in Singapore and overseas markets.
  • Cross-sell trade, treasury, cash management, capital markets products: Act as an independent liaison and coordinator with relevant business and supporting units of the Bank to cross-sell various products and deepen client relationships.
  • Prepare credit proposals and reviews: Responsible for preparing credit proposals and reviews, including in-depth credit risk analysis and close follow-through of the credit submissions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant banking experience: You should have a minimum of 8 years of relevant banking experience and a proven track record in business development, preferably in corporate banking.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills: You should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and colleagues at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities: You should have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to structure viable financing solutions and identify business opportunities.
  • Independent, self-motivated, proactive, growth mindset, and a good team player: You should be an independent self-starter with a growth mindset, proactive, results-oriented, and a strong team player.
  • Familiarity with current digital and emerging sector landscapes: You should be well-versed in current digital and emerging sector landscapes to stay ahead of the curve in identifying and realizing opportunities.
