Our client is one of the global tech giants. Regional HQ in Singapore, to cope with the increment demand, they are looking for Senior DevOps Engineers to be part of their growing team supporting their regional operations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain servers, databases, networks, and other related hardware devices to ensure their proper functioning.
- Monitor system performance to ensure smooth operations, and promptly respond to and address any system anomalies.
- Perform daily backup and recovery operations to ensure data integrity and security.
- Evaluate new technologies and tools, and provide recommendations for improving system efficiency and stability.
- Write and update relevant documentation, such as operation manuals and maintenance guides.
- Respond to and handle operational emergencies, such as system outages and data breaches.
- Conduct regular performance testing and optimization to ensure efficient system operation.
- Continuously monitor and assess system and network security to ensure information safety.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
- In-depth understanding of network infrastructure and TCP/IP protocols.
- Proficiency with Linux systems, familiarity with virtualization technology, and experience with large-scale server deployments.
- Familiarity with common automation deployment and configuration tools, such as Terraform, Ansible, etc.
- Familiarity with common monitoring tools, such as Nagios, Prometheus, Zabbix, etc.
- Some experience in database management and optimization, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.
- Ability to write simple scripts, such as Bash, Python, etc., for automation tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Added Advantage:
- Relevant industry certifications, such as RHCE, CCNA, etc.
- Practical experience with container technologies, such as Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
- Experience in cloud platform management, such as Tencent Cloud, AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.
