About the company:
- Our client is a Global Leading Shipping firm with presence within the South-East Asia and Middle East region - currently looking for a Senior Finance Manager to front their finance function
Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for complex group consolidation across APAC, including statutory reporting, monthly financial review and closing. You will ensure accurate management reporting, budgeting, planning and forecasting activities. You will be the go-to-person and advise the country team on latest developments in financial regulatory standards and liaise with external agents on tax and audit matters. Additionally, you will be involved in driving improvement projects to optimize work flow, systems and processes.
- Oversee finance systems managing transaction flows from source interfaces to GL.
- Lead and guide regional subsidiaries like India, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand to ensure ledgers are maintained on a timely basis, are accurate and complete.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Finance/Accounting or related field
- Min 10 years of experience with min 3 years at managerial level
- Highly preferred candidates with prior Big 4 followed by commercial exposure.
